Carbon Monoxide (CO) Analyzer · Gas analysis

Overview.

Designed to complement Hiden HPR-20 and QGA 2.0 Gas Analysis systems, the CO Analyzer delivers accurate quantitative analysis of carbon monoxide within complex gas matrices. It resolves overlapping background signals from nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and methane in syngas, biogas, and catalysis applications.

The next-generation CO Analyzer is an advanced gas sensing module designed to seamlessly integrate with our Mass Spectrometry (MS) systems. Engineered to overcome the classic analytical challenge of resolving carbon monoxide in overlapping background matrices, it provides high-speed, high-precision quantitative analysis for demanding research and industrial applications.

  • Mass Spectrometer Integration: Fully synchronized with mass spectrometer hardware and software for unified gas analysis and streamlined data acquisition.
  • Overcomes Complex Matrix Interference: Optimized for catalysis, syngas, and biogas studies—delivering reliable CO quantification in multi-component mixtures (e.g. N₂, CO₂, CH₄).
  • Heated & Pressure-Compensated Housing: Designed with an integrated heated enclosure and automatic pressure compensation, featuring 1/8″ Swagelok® gas connections for leak-tight sampling.
  • Rapid Response Time: Delivers real-time continuous monitoring with an ultra-low response time of just 1.6 seconds.
  • Versatile Range Selection: Available in a wide variety of customizable measurement ranges to suit diverse process requirements.

Standalone CO Analyzers with measurement ranges: 0.04 – 1,000 ppm and 0.04 – 10,000 ppm are also available, with data acquisition integrated to the Hiden mass spectrometers.
